You are given the opportunity to try your hand at one of the more extreme forms of climbing with their indoor ice wall, however don’t be put off if you’re a beginner or an anxious climber as there are ‘Taste of Ice Climbing’ sessions available for all levels of experience. The centre also has indoor caving, kids climbing sessions, and if you’re more of an outdoor adventurer, activities such as ghyll scrambling, outdoor climbing and extreme Via Ferrata are available.
Bendrigg Trust, Kendal
have a vision for an “inclusive society where everyone is equal”. They host a range of residential and day activity courses for all ages and abilities, led by highly experienced, incredibly friendly staff and tutors. Bendrigg is a registered charity and have encouraged independence for over 79,000 disabled and disadvantaged people throughout the UK, whilst ultimately building their self-confidence.
