We are lucky to have some excellent places to shop in the South Lakes. Places like Ambleside, Hawkshead, Staveley and Windermere are full of independent stores, established chains and crafty emporiums where you can buy anything from the best outdoor gear to the best indoor gear, great gifts, the finest local produce, clothes, books and beer.
