Our Head Chef, Alan Forsyth, is the proud owner of 2 rosettes. He ensure dining at the Newby Bridge Hotel is a real pleasure. Our menu changes daily and offers a wide choice, using locally grown fresh produce whenever possible, much of it from our own Victorian kitchen garden. We offer vegetarian options and have a special children's menu.
The hotel dining room retains its original oak panels and overlooks the Mediterranean gardens.
Hi-Life Diners Club Cards are welcome in our restaurant and entitle the holder to a "2 for 1" discount on a 3 course table d'hôte meal.
Our aforementioned kitchen garden supplies as much quality fresh fruit, vegetables and herbs as possible, all grown using organic, "Slow Food” principles.
Cumbria is world famous for it's beef and lamb, reared on our lush green hills. Our suppliers offer complete traceability and give a guarantee of flavour and tenderness.
