The Cuckoo Brow Inn, formerly the Sawrey Hotel, at Far Sawrey is the newest addition to our 'family' of hotels. Recently redeveloped to a very high standard it’s been getting some amazing reviews for its big-hearted welcome and great local food and ales. It offers a very high standard of bed and breakfast accommodation in the Lake District all within walking reach of Beatrix Potter’s famous home. As for exploring the area more widely, the world’s your oyster as this place is near to Grizedale Forest, Coniston Water and Lake Windermere as well as delightful villages like Ambleside, Hawkshead and Bowness. Our bedrooms
With a major refurbishment programme completed in 2011, this lovely traditional coaching inn has had its interior brought bang up to date. All rooms come with en-suite power showers, comfy beds, flat screen TVs and our superior rooms have king-size beds and roll top baths as well. This is the high end of bed and breakfast. We have three family rooms with bunk beds, sleeping four. And, with the kids tucked around the corner in there own little den, there’s still some privacy for mum and dad in a super-king sized bed.
