Christmas Breaks
Christmas is a wonderful time to be in the Lake District. Our mountains take on a majestic quality when their tops are covered with a dusting of snow. And should the skies be blue it truly is the best place in the world to be. The lights of the Lakeland villages sparkle with a hitherto twinkle in the winter afternoons and their traditional markets and festivals are wonderful to visit.
We love the Christmas season at South Lakes Hotels. From late November there is an air of excited anticipation as we start to deck out each of our distinct hotels in baubles, trees and lights. Our homely halls and lounges taken on their Christmas finery, our fires are lit and our friendly staff are on standby to give you a warm welcome.
